What is a Discovery Call?
A Discovery Call is a 30-minute consultation with one of our GPs, by phone or video. It is designed for people who want expert guidance before committing to a health screen or genetic test.
In that 30 minutes, your doctor will review your medical history and risk factors, understand what is prompting you to seek screening, and recommend the tests most likely to give you useful, actionable information. There is no pressure to book anything. The call is a clinical conversation, not a sales pitch.
The £250 fee is fully credited against any test or package you go on to book with us, including health screening packages, genetic testing, and individual cancer tests.
What we cover in the call
Your doctor will ask about your personal and family medical history, any symptoms or concerns you have noticed, your lifestyle and risk factors, and your goals for screening. Based on that conversation, they will explain which of our tests or packages are most relevant to you, what each one involves, and what you could reasonably expect to learn from it.
If you come with a specific question, for example whether a whole-body MRI is appropriate for you, or whether a genetic test makes sense given your family history, your doctor will give you a direct, considered answer.
Who is a Discovery Call for?
A Discovery Call is particularly useful if you are considering one of our more comprehensive health screening packages and want to understand what is included before booking. It is also well suited to anyone with a family history of cancer or heart disease who wants clinical input on which genetic or cardiovascular tests are most relevant. Many people book a call when they have had a previous health scare or diagnosis and want to think through next steps with a doctor. Others simply want to be confident they are choosing the right option rather than booking blindly.

How It Works
Step 1 — Book online Choose a time that suits you. The booking takes a few minutes. You will receive a confirmation and a short pre-call questionnaire asking about your medical history and what you would like to discuss.
Step 2 — Speak to your doctor Your 30-minute call takes place by phone or video. Your doctor will review your questionnaire beforehand so the conversation starts in the right place.
Step 3 — Receive your recommendation After the call, your doctor will follow up with a written summary of what was discussed and what they recommend. If you decide to proceed with a test or package, the £250 is credited in full.

It is credited, not refunded. The fee is deducted from the cost of any test or package you book after your call. It applies to all health screening packages, all genetic tests, and individual cancer tests including the Multi Cancer Early Detection test.
Yes. It is a clinical appointment with one of our GPs, not an administrative call. Your doctor will review your history, give clinical guidance, and document the conversation in your records.
No. Many people who book a Discovery Call are new to the clinic and are using the call to decide whether to register.
The £250 is not refundable if you choose not to proceed with a test or package. However, your doctor’s recommendations and the written summary remain on our records, and you are welcome to act on them in your own time.
Yes. If you are discussing a family health history or considering testing for a close relative, it can be helpful to have them on the call. Please mention this when booking.
