Before Pregnancy
For many people, the time before pregnancy is the most important time to see a doctor. If you have a pre-existing health condition, whether that is high blood pressure, thyroid disease, diabetes, or a condition managed with medication, it is worth reviewing your care before you conceive. Some medications need to be adjusted or switched before pregnancy, including GLP-1 medications, which should be stopped before conception. Others need closer monitoring in early pregnancy than a standard NHS pathway will provide.
We will review your current health, medications, and any relevant family history, and put a plan in place that takes you from pre-conception through to the early stages of pregnancy. If you have concerns about your fertility, we can arrange initial checks including blood hormone levels. And if we identify anything that needs specialist input, we will refer you quickly to someone we know and trust.
Throughout Pregnancy
Pregnancy brings a steady stream of questions, and some of them feel too small to bother anyone with. They are not. Our GPs are available same-day throughout your pregnancy for anything from a blood pressure check to the common complaints that make the months harder than they need to be. Constipation, skin rashes, urinary tract infections, heartburn, fatigue that feels out of proportion. We can assess and prescribe quickly, so you are not left waiting or wondering.
Antenatal Tests
We offer a range of antenatal tests not routinely available on the NHS, includingnon-invasive prenatal testing for chromosomal conditions using the Harmony test, and testing for Group B strep. If you are unsure which tests are right for you, your GP will talk you through the options and help you make a decision that is right for your pregnancy.
After Your Baby Arrives
The postnatal period can be one of the most demanding, and it is often when continuity of care matters most. We offer postnatal appointments for both mother and newborn, with same-day availability when you need it. Your GP will already know your history, so you are not starting from scratch at every appointment. If you need referral to a specialist, whether for your own recovery or for your baby’s health, we will make that happen quickly and stay involved throughout.

Yes. GLP-1 medications need to be stopped before conception, and the timing and transition require careful planning. We can review your current medication, put a plan in place for stopping it safely, and ensure your care is joined up from pre-conception through to the early stages of pregnancy.
Yes. If you are unable to come tp clinic, we can arrange a home visit. Please call us to discuss and we will find the best solution.
We are happy to provide consultations by phone or video to patients located within the United Kingdom. We can safely manage many conditions and can arrange home delivery of medications or test kits.
For our local patients, we have the advantage of being able to see patients for a home visit or bring them in for a follow-up in-clinic appointment too.
