Dr Catherine Ramsey

Dr Catherine Ramsey is a GP with specialist expertise in diabetes and metabolic health. She qualified from Newcastle Medical School with Distinction in 2002, gained Membership of the Royal College of Physicians in 2005, and went on to gain membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners with Distinction in 2007. She holds a Certificate in Diabetes Care from the University of Warwick and a Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health. Alongside her work at Coyne Medical, she holds an extended role in diabetes for Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust and an Honorary Clinical Teaching role in Primary Care Medicine at Imperial College School of Medicine.
Catherine focuses on identifying and supporting patients with cardiometabolic and metabolic conditions, with a strong emphasis on preventive medicine and lifestyle change. She takes time to understand the full picture and works with patients to build a clear, practical plan they can follow with confidence.
Outside the clinic, Catherine is a mother to four children and is often out running with her labrador Molly, working towards her next personal best.
