The practice needs to collect personal information about people with whom it deals in order to carry out its business and provide its services. No personal medical information is stored on this website. We use a secure electronic patient record system to store all personal medical information. Access to patient medical records is strictly monitored and secured. The practice may share information with other professionals involved in your medical care, for example to enable a referral to a specialist, with your consent. We will share your information when required to do so by relevant legislation, or court orders. Should Coyne Medical Ltd be acquired by another company, customer information may be deemed a transferable business asset, and as such will be transferred to the new owners. Patients may request a copy of their medical records at any time.
We do not store credit card, debit card or bank account details for patients. We use secure payment processors including Worldpay and Stripe to manage card payments with the highest levels of security.
Use of anonymised information for research and publications
Coyne Medical is committed to improving understanding of health, disease risk, prevention and early detection. We may use information generated through the care and health screening services we provide to support research, audit, education and scientific publication.
Where information is used for these purposes without specific individual consent, we will use fully anonymised information so that individuals cannot reasonably be identified from the information used or from any research findings or publications.
Anonymised information may include, for example:
