Longevity & Healthspan Guides from our GPs
Living longer matters less than living well for longer. The evidence on what actually makes a difference is clearer than the noise around it might suggest.
There is no shortage of content about longevity. Cold plunges, supplements, wearables and red light therapy are promoted constantly. But the interventions with the strongest and most consistent evidence are far less exotic: how you move, how you sleep, what you eat, and what your blood markers are actually telling you. These guides focus on what the science supports, covering the lifestyle factors with the most robust evidence, the metabolic and cardiovascular markers most predictive of healthy ageing, and how to think about prevention as an ongoing process rather than a single annual check

Our Approach
We think the most important shift in preventive medicine is moving the conversation from lifespan to healthspan, not just how long you live, but how many of those years are spent in good health. A 2017 US study following nearly 15,000 people over 12 years found that habits in midlife do not merely shape how long you live but how well you live. That finding holds across almost every major dataset in the field. In our clinic we take this seriously: we look at metabolic markers like HbA1c and fasting insulin alongside standard blood tests, we treat sleep as a clinical variable, and we have honest conversations about exercise, which remains the single most powerful longevity intervention available. Our Advanced and Ultimate Health Screening packages include the metabolic and longevity markers we consider most clinically useful. Find out more →
