About Our Founders:
Coyne Medical Ltd was founded by two exceptional General Practitioners (GPs) who continue to lead the practice and actively work within the clinic. As co-founder GPs, they are deeply committed to supporting and collaborating with our new team member, ensuring a nurturing and fulfilling experience at Coyne Medical.
Key Perks of the Role:
- Work-Life Balance: Enjoy a fulfilling work-life balance, clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm, with no evening clinics. We share Saturday clinics, up to a maximum of 1 in 4 clinics, from 10 am to 2 pm, which are fully paid as an extra session. We are closed on Sundays, Bank Holidays and over Easter weekend. Flexible timing of sessions to fit around your commitments.
- Patient-Centered Care: Provide quality GP consultations with a standard appointment time of 30 minutes, ensuring patients receive the attention and care they deserve.
- Supportive Environment: Work both independently and as part of a collaborative team that values your expertise and approachability. Clear policies and guidance on prescribing, including following NICE guidelines and policies on controlled drug prescribing

- Modern Facilities: Practice medicine in a state-of-the-art clinic equipped with modern IT systems, including an electronic patient record system and prescribing capabilities.
- Low Administration Load: We ensure you have protected time for administration in every clinic, allowing you to focus on what matters most – patient care. Video consults and home visits are only occasional.
- Attractive Package: Benefit from a competitive salary of £110,000+ full-time equivalent, 28 days paid annual leave (pro-rata), along with a private pension scheme and various discounts.
- Medical indemnity provided by the MDU: Paid in full by the company for all sessions.
What We Seek:
We are looking for a skilled and confident GP who meets the following requirements to join us for 4 to 6 sessions per week:
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and experience as a GP, registered with the General Medical Council.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, coupled with a warm and approachable demeanor.
- Experience: At least 1 year of experience as a General Practitioner (GP), ensuring you bring valuable expertise to our team.
- Private practice experience is not essential. Full training and support will be given as part of your induction and ongoing training.
